Happy Purim! Now Let's Kill the Gentiles!

Dear Jewish People:

There’s something about this book of Esther of yours that just doesn’t jive. I mean…like…why did Haman feel the way he did about the Jews of Persia in the first place…huh? The only reason given is that Mordechai refused to “bow down” to him. But hey, come on! That sounds about as bogus as Saddam Hussein’s weapons of mass destruction! So what was the real reason? Why did Haman, assuming he actually existed, feel such an antipathy to the Jewish population of Persia?

Hmmm….
Maybe he was tired of constant agitating for war with Babylon…

Or maybe he was sick and tired of greedy moneylenders exploiting the poor…

Then again perhaps he was disheartened by Persian leaders being corrupted and turned against their own people…

Or maybe he was no friend of trickery and deceit and had simply grown weary of being bombarded with lies and propaganda…

Could be also he was worried about the corruption of the morals of Persian youth…

Just some possibilities that occur to me. Maybe there are more. Perhaps you could even think of one or two yourself if you tried real hard. In any event, the Jewish writer of your Old Testament book seems to have left a few key parts out of the story. But hey! Nobody’s perfect!

In closing, dear Jewish people, I would simply note that people all over the world are beginning to wake up (at the rate of 75,000 a day!) to the fact that a vast number of you are not quite the innocent victims we all once thought you were!

Best wishes,
Buddy the Goy

On Purim 2003 the U.S. invaded the sovereign nation of Iraq, officially to eliminate illicit weapons of mass destruction but in reality to neutralize a possible Iraqi threat to the Israeli government. Nearly 5,000 dead Americans and a trillion dollars later and Iraq has been totally neutered, just as the Israelis and their American agents had hoped, notwithstanding the damage to the US economy and our service men and women.

In the run-up to Purim 2012, which begins on Wednesday evening March 7, Senator John McCain has called for a deficit-ridden America to undertake a multi-million dollar bombing of Syria, while Senator Joseph Lieberman, speaking at the Israeli lobby’s AIPAC conference, demanded a U.S. attack on Iran if the government of that Persian nation will not stop its non-existent nuclear weapons program. The German philosopher G.W.F. Hegel observed that the only thing we learn from history is that we learn nothing from history. (
