TULKAREM, (PIC)-- The Palestinian Authority's preventive security forces in Tulkarem city kidnapped on Sunday evening Quds Press reporter Salim Tayeh from his home without giving reasons.

His wife told Quds Press that the preventive security men ransacked the house, and confiscated two computers and documents related to Tayeh's job.

She expressed her surprise at what happened to her husband, affirming that Tayeh never attacked the Palestinian Authority verbally or in writing.

For its part, the Palestinian media assembly strongly denounced the kidnapping of Tayeh and demanded his immediate release along with other journalists from West Bank jails.

The preventive security forces also on the same day encircled the area around the house of Palestinian lawmaker Mohamed Al-Tal in Al-Daheriya town, southwest of Al-Khalil city, and kidnapped his brother Rami.

Four other Palestinian citizens affiliated with Hamas were reportedly kidnapped in the cities of Ramallah, Qalqiliya, and Al-Khalil, according to local sources on Monday.

In a separate incident, informed sources said the prisoner in PA jails Mohamed Abu Hadid was transferred to Aliya hospital in very critical condition as a result of his exposure to excruciating torture at the hands of PA interrogators.

Eyewitness also said that Abu Hadid was admitted into the hospital on Sunday evening bleeding from his nose and mouth and remained in this status for four hours.
