RAMALLAH, (PIC)-- Tens of Palestinian citizens were treated for breathing problems after the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) violently quelled peaceful anti wall marches in a number of West Bank villages on Friday.

PIC reporter said that the separate marches, which were organized in Bilin, Nilin and Masara villages, challenged the IOF decision turning them into closed military zones on Fridays.

The marchers hoisted Palestinian flags and said their protest marchers were in solidarity with occupied Jerusalem and holy shrines in face of Israeli judaization attempts.

The IOF soldiers fired rubber bullets and gas canisters, which caused breathing difficulties among tens of participants.

The reporter said that the IOF soldiers wounded a number of participants including two cameramen and arrested a number of citizens and an Italian activist.

In occupied Jerusalem, a group of settlers stormed the Sheikh Jarrah suburb in occupied Jerusalem on Friday night and assaulted Palestinian citizens.

The Quds media center said that Rifka Al-Kurd and her daughter Nadia were injured in the settlers' attack, recalling that the settlers had seized part of her home a few months ago.

It said that the Israeli occupation police escorted the settlers and arrested a number of young men for resisting them.
