Resheq: Netanyahu speech slap in the face of those who bet on settlement process

Comment:

Today, I commented on AKIVA Eldar in Haaretz, reporting that Egypt, Syria increased pressure on Hamas to seal agreement with Fatah.

Hamas basher picked the IMPORTANT ARTICLE, to prove to his followers that he was right all the time. "The Americans promised the Syrians that if they take on a positive role in the Palestinian channel, the U.S. would act to resume negotiations in the Syrian track."

In his prey: Beg....Beg....Beg.... He expected Iran shall bow to "Obama is trying to put the ayatollahs to good use, and syria shall move away from Iran.

Based on his shitty assumptions (Wishfull thinking driven by hate) he concluded that moving Iran and Syria from the equation, Hamas will be cut off and the plan is to destroy it or at least domesticate it, just as Arafat was domesticated and finally destroyed. In other words

He, who once upon a time shocked his head on the "Joke" of Hamas massing its forces to stop IDF's invasion, turned 180 degrees to call Hamas to stop begging, and send its troops to fight Pharoah troops in Cairo, Dayton's Army in WB, and move forward to change the puppet regime in Jordran.

He Bashed Hamas, for meeting Carter, and ignored his meeting with Ayatollah Fadlalla. Below read the Zionist Propaganda claimin that Hamas Foiled Attack on Carter, intended to show that Gaza is a dangerous place.

However, Hamas, Syria, Iran Bashers got a got kick on their Asses by re-elcting Ahmadinejad, and Netanyah's speech, as for Egypt, Syria increased pressure on Hamas to seal agreement with Fatah. Her is Hamas Answer.

DAMASCUS, (PIC)-- The speech by Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu constituted a slap in the face of all those who bet on the a settlement process with the Israeli occupation authority, Ezzet Al-Reshseq, political bureau member of Hamas, said.

He asked the PA in Ramallah and those who are called "moderate" Arabs to re-think their stands and to stop racing behind the peace mirage with an enemy that only nourishes on "murder and terrorism".

Resheq, in a press release on Monday, said that Netanyahu's peace overture was based on peace for the IOA only that allows it to continue colonizing Arab lands and legitimatize its aggression and usurpation of Palestinian rights.

He said that the American administration, European Union and the world community should re-consider their positions following Netanyahu's speech, which carried in between the lines an invitation for war and unrest in the Middle East.

The internal Palestinian rift should be overcome right away on the basis of rights and constants away from negotiations and foreign intervention, the Hamas leader asserted.

Resistance that defeated Israel in Gaza Strip and south Lebanon is the only means capable of restoring usurped rights, Resheq opined, asking the Arab and Islamic countries and peoples along with the free people of the world to support the Palestinian people's steadfastness in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

MP Yehya Mousa, for his part, said that Netanyahu's speech carried a direct call for war and hatred.

He told Al-Alam TV network on Monday evening that the peace process was no longer valid as there was no peace partner in Israel.

The lawmaker blamed the peace settlements for the current Palestinian division, saying that the rift started ever since those settlement initiatives were tabled.

Mousa said that the most dangerous political event in the Palestinian question was recognizing Israel, which lured the IOA into asking for more demands such as recognizing the Jewish nature of Israel.

What Have We Here~Hamas Foils Attack on Carter?

UPDATE x1 It's now being reported all over the place, again from the original source.

This is being reported in Haaretz, and two other Israeli papers only, here and the original source here from Maariv which is a pro Israeli Hebrew paper I have translated in the link. I find this very odd, three Israeli papers, no where else, and Hamas seems to be denying this took place. Hmmmmm

Three things strike me, first, if it's true, this only serves to prove that Hamas is more than capable of governing Gaza. Move along, nothing to see here, all sorted.

If it is not true, then why is it being published, and published in only three Israeli papers, the later two taking it from the main source at Maariv, and repeating it. I also have to ask myself the question, when does Hamas do interviews with pro-Israeli Hebrew news papers? Probably never. Yet this paper is claiming confirmation from Hamas who are denying it took place. Again, Hmmmmm. Israelis may have published this to create riffs inside Palestine, between Hamas and others, that's my bet. And it also has the "added benefit" of placing a damper on what was a brilliant visit by Carter in order to give the very false impression that Gaza is unsafe for people like Carter to visit, which, is not true.

Thirdly, how convenient for Israel if this is true, and how convenient it happened at the Israeli border. Instead of insluting Hamas, if I were Israel I'd be wondering why I didn't know what was taking place on my own border. Again I say, Hmmmmmm So maybe Israel should be praising Hamas for doing what it could not, "if" this incident is even true.

Hamas has foiled an attempt by Palestinian militants to attack former U.S. president Jimmy Carter during his visit to the Gaza Strip, a Palestinian source told news agencies on Tuesday.

Now, if this story gets wings and begins to be used to attack Hamas or denigrate Carters visit to Gaza, then I'd have to ask why the story of the foiled bomb attempt on George Mitchell in Lebanon did not receive the same treatment. Time will tell.

According to the source, militants linked with Al-Qaida planted two roadside bombs at a border crossing between Gaza and Israel with the intent of striking Carter's vehicle on his way out of the coastal territory. Witnesses reported seeing Hamas forces patrolling near the Erez crossing and detonating the explosives.

Hamas Interior Ministry spokesman Ihab al-Rassin denied the reports, however, saying the group's forces had engaged in routine activity and had no information of an assassination attempt.

Associates of the former president said they had received briefing on the matter, but would not elaborate on the matter.
